Orthopedics & Soft Tissue

Orthopedics

Injuries to bones, ligaments and joints are common in our canine and feline companions. These injuries usually occur as a result of genetic predisposition or trauma. While casts, splints and physical therapy are some of the therapies used to treat orthopedic injuries, in many cases, animals need to undergo orthopedic surgery to correct the problem.

Our veterinarians are experienced in many orthopedic procedures including fracture repair, cruciate ligament repair, patellar (knee) surgery and hip surgery. We use the best pain control therapies available for our patients, and are able to assist clients with their pet's physical rehabilitation to return to as normal function as possible.

Soft Tissue Surgeries
Soft tissue surgeries include mass removals (internal and external), exploratory, organ removal and caesarean sections. Masses can be anything from benign fatty growths (lipomas) to malignant tumors (such as mast cell tumors). Our doctors have extensive experience with soft tissue surgeries to help diagnose, treat or cure a variety of health concerns.

Our clinic uses laser technology and the latest pain control medications to make any surgical procedure and recovery as comfortable as possible for your pet.
