Radiographs are a routine diagnostic tool. They aid in the diagnosis of both soft tissue and bony disease. In addition to our complete radiology suite in the clinic, our veterinarians use a portable x-ray unit to take radiographs on the farm.
Our staff uses portable ultrasound equipment that can be set up on the farm. They are most commonly used to examine livestock for pregnancy, or evaluate carcass traits such as back fat, loin area and marbling in cattle, sheep and swine.
