West Nile
- 1st vaccination given at 6 months of age
- 2nd dose 1 month later
- Vaccinate at least 2 weeks prior to the onset of mosquito season annually for life
- Broodmares should be vaccinated 4-6 weeks before foaling. If unvaccinated, 2 doses should be given with the second dose administered 4-6 weeks before foaling.
- Typically given as a combination vaccine
- 1st vaccination at 3-4 months if mare is unvaccinated, 6 months if the mare is vaccinated
- Booster twice at monthly intervals
- Vaccinate annually for life
- Broodmares should be vaccinated 4-6 weeks before foaling. If unvaccinated, 2 doses should be given with the second dose administered 4-6 weeks before foaling.
- Tetanus should be boostered anytime there is a penetrating injury or surgery unless a booster has been given in the last 6 months.
- 1st vaccination given at 6 months
- Booster twice at 1 month intervals
- Booster annually at a minimum and every 6 months if exposure to other horses is high
- Broodmares should be vaccinated 4-6 weeks before foaling. If unvaccinated, 2 doses should be given with the second dose administered 4-6 weeks before foaling.

- Booster at 12 months
- Vaccinate annually for life
- Broodmares should be given a single dose either pre-breeding or at 4-6 weeks before foaling
- Only necessary for horses at increased risk (Horses on breeding farms, housed at boarding facilities or performance/show horses in high risk situations)
- 1st vaccination given at 4-6 months
- 2nd dose 1 month later, 3rd dose at 10-12months
- Vaccinate annually (at a minimum) for life and as frequently as every 3-6 months if exposure to other horses is high
- Broodmares: Use the inactivated vaccine (not live) and vaccinate at 5, 7, and 9 months of gestation
